FAQ
How is NEET percentile calculated?▾
Your NEET percentile = (number of candidates who scored ≤ your score) ÷ (total candidates) × 100. NTA does not officially release percentile-by-score, so this tool estimates based on historical marks-vs-rank curves.
What's the difference between percentile and percentage in NEET?▾
Percentage is your score divided by 720, expressed as a percentage. Percentile compares you to other candidates — a 99th percentile means you scored higher than 99% of test-takers. Two students with the same score can have very different percentiles in different years if applicant counts shift.
What percentile do I need for government MBBS?▾
Roughly 99.5th percentile and above, depending on category and state. AIIMS Delhi typically requires 99.99th percentile. The exact cutoff varies year to year.
